Correspondent Study Programs

In a continuing effort to offer you the best service on certificate training programs, we will convert the administration to CUNA effective December 15, 2010. After that date STAR, MERIT, VAP study material and exam orders will need to be placed with CUNA, rather than the Missouri Credit Union Association. Grade results and the programs’ certificates and pins (where applicable) will be sent directly to your credit union from CUNA Center for Professional Development (CPD) and you will be billed directly by CUNA for your orders.

CHANGES TO PROGRAM - Paper tests are being eliminated. Please read below.

Effective January 1, 2010, CUNA will no longer include a complimentary paper exam with STAR, MERIT and VAP module purchases. Instead, a code will be provided that allows one complimentary exam to be taken via CPDOnline. This change is the first step in the plan to eliminate the complimentary paper exam with module purchases entirely. For those that prefer a paper exam, there will be an opportunity to request them as an alternative through year end 2010. Effective January 1, 2011, the only complimentary exam opportunity provided with a print module will be an online exam. During 2010, credit unions will need to state at order time which option is preferred (paper or online code).

Star & Merit Pins
Effective July 1, 2006, CUNA will no longer issue recognition pins for the STAR and MERIT programs.
