Correspondent Study Programs

In a continuing effort to offer the best service on certificate training programs, the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) converted the administration of STAR, MERIT and VAP programs to CUNA effective December 15, 2010. After that date, STAR, MERIT and VAP study material and exam orders will need to be placed with CUNA, rather than MCUA. Grade results and program certificates and pins (where applicable) will be sent directly to your credit union from the CUNA Center for Professional Development (CPD). The credit union will be billed directly by CUNA for orders.

Here are the changes:

Place all STAR, MERIT, VAP certificate program material orders through CUNA Customer Service. Call (800) 356-8010, press 3. Call this same number with questions regarding invoices, or for returning purchases. Return policy/procedure is noted on packing slip/invoice.
Contact CUNA CPD (Center for Professional Development) at (800) 356-9655, ext. 4072 or CPDOnline@cuna.com with questions regarding exams, certificate processing, etc.
Mail all hard copy exams to CUNA - National Processing Center, P.O. Box 431, Madison, WI 53701-0431. You may exchange program specific hard copy exams for the universal Scantron exam form, at no additional cost. CUNA will hand grade any of the old exams that do come in, however, it may take longer to obtain the results, as the universal Scantron exam form will take priority. In order to exchange your current hard copy exam forms that require hand-grading for the universal Scantron exam forms, please mail the old exams to: CUNA - National Processing Center, P.O. Box 431, Madison, WI 53701-0431. (Please include contact information and a mailing address with your request.)
